I LOVE MY FAMILY I DON’T LIKE
In I Love My Family I Don’t Like My Family, director – choreographer Isabella Soupart tackles the Interview performance genre. In close collaboration with actress Alexandra Oppo – great grand daughter of Cipriano Oppo, Mussolini’s Culture Minister and right-hand man, and grand daughter of avant-garde artist and film-maker Enzo Nasso– Isabella Soupart spurs a reflection on the Young actress’s family history as it is engaged in Italy’s political and cultural upheavals of the 20th Century. Consistent with the installation, the staging features films, photographs and documents that contrast with a film on Chet Baker produced in 1963 by Alexandra’s grandfather, Enzo Nasso.
Avec I Love my Family I don’t Like my Family, la chorégraphe et metteuse en scène Isabella Soupart aborde le théâtre documentaire.
